Mathews Journal of Nutrition & Dietetics

2474-7475

Mathews Journal of Nutrition & Dietetics (MJND; ISSN 2474-7475) is an open access journal that covers all aspects of experimental nutrition, with special focus on cellular, molecular, human, and animal nutrition. It publishes high-quality research on key topics, such as food science, clinical nutrition, weight loss, and sports nutrition. Papers on surveillance, epidemiological, and interventional research that provide insights into the following: i) familial, environmental influences on eating patterns; ii) correlations between health and eating patterns, and iii) strategies aimed at improving eating patterns among populations are highly solicited.

MJND is especially dedicated to publishing articles that advance our understanding of nutritional mechanisms in relevant model organisms. Manuscripts dealing with interactions of nutrition with genetics, physiology, and health and behavioral outcomes are well suited for publication in MJND.

MJND also welcomes articles reporting on psychometric properties (reliability, validity) and feasibility of methods employed for assessing aspects such as dietary intake and optimum nutrition for human nutrition research. Study protocols for cohort studies and controlled trials, with special focus on methods for assessing intervention components and dietary exposures and outcomes are especially welcome.

Why publish with us?
