Mathews Journal of Dermatology (MJD; ISSN 2474-6894) is an open-access journal that publishes original research on dermatopathology, skin cancer, bacterial skin diseases, contact dermatitis, cosmetic dermatology, dermal fungal infections, burn treatment, pediatric dermatology, geriatric dermatology, surgical dermatology, Tele Dermatology, Melanoma, plastic surgery, oncological and aesthetic dermatologic surgery.
MJD is aimed at providing medical education and at filling knowledge gaps in the provision of dermatological care. This journal is the venue for the development of clinical guidelines pertaining to dermatology and its ultimate goal is to provide the readers with content that enhances dermatological expertise by disseminating evidence-based information to improve patient outcomes.
MJD serves as a forum for the exchange of information on novel research in dermatology and to enhance advancements in dermatology by publishing original research articles, reviews, commentaries, and proceedings of conferences and workshops aimed at helping in the development and testing effective diagnosis and treatment strategies for individuals suffering from dermatological disorders.
