Biography

Dr. Vedat Goral is currently the Head of Department of Gastroenterology, at Izmir University School of Medicine. He graduated medical school at Diyarbakir University he also completed his PhD degree Dicle University, Turkey in 1986; he has studied between 1990-1991 years at Chiba University, School of Medicine Department of Gastroenterology, Japan, and 1992 years Giessen University School of Medicine Department of Gastroenterology, Germany and at 1998 years Chealsea&Westminster Hospital, Department of Gastroenterology, England.

Dr. Vedat Goral has also published many refereed articles in journals covered by SCI and contributed some to Turkish books written in Turkish. Also, he has many abstracts at national and international congress.
