She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bengaluru, India, and has since built a career that bridges frontline patient care with cutting-edge biomedical innovation. Currently serving as a General Practitioner and Consultant at Elova Hospitals, Dr. Rajendran manages a high-volume outpatient practice, providing comprehensive care across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions. Her clinical expertise encompasses primary care, chronic disease management, maternal and child health, preventive medicine, emergency stabilization, geriatric care, and healthcare quality improvement. Through her commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care, she has positively impacted the lives of thousands of patients while contributing to the advancement of healthcare delivery. Prior to joining Elova Hospitals, Dr. Rajendran served as a Medical Officer with Karuna Trust at Adugodi Urban Primary Health Centre, Bengaluru. In this leadership role, she actively contributed to large-scale public health initiatives, infectious disease management, immunization programs, maternal healthcare services, and chronic disease control. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a vital frontline role in disease surveillance, patient management, diagnostic services, and vaccination campaigns, contributing significantly to community healthcare and public health resilience. Alongside her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Rajendran has established a distinguished academic profile through her interdisciplinary research at the convergence of oncology, artificial intelligence, precision medicine, predictive analytics, digital health, and translational biomedical sciences. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in Scopus-indexed journals addressing critical challenges in cancer diagnosis, immunotherapy, nanomedicine, theranostics, genomic profiling, pharmacogenomics, machine learning-driven clinical decision support, predictive oncology, and personalized treatment strategies. Her research portfolio further includes innovative work in early cancer detection, computational medical imaging, disease modeling, omics-driven patient stratification, and AI-enabled predictive healthcare systems. A published author and healthcare innovator, Dr. Rajendran has written multiple scholarly books focused on precision oncology, cancer immunotherapy, genomic medicine, theranostics, and emerging biomedical technologies.
