Biography

Dr. Ashraf Dower is a medical officer at Liverpool Hospital, NSW Australia. He is also a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of NSW. He completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctorate of Medicine at the University of NSW in 2013.He also completed his Advanced Trauma and Life Support course at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth United Kingdom.

Dr. Dower accrued substantial experience as a neurosurgical resident within a busy neurosurgical department known as one of the largest neurosurgical trauma units in Australia. Furthermore he continues teaching duties at the South Western Sydney UNSW clinical school in his role as conjoint associate lecturer. He has contributed considerably to the medical literature and has published on various topics such as recurrent lumbar disc herniation, complex cervical spinal tumours and bilateral spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhages.
