Dr.R. Vijayalakshmi holds a Master of Science in Nursing (Mental Health Nursing) and a Ph.D. in Nursing. With a comprehensive teaching career spanning over 25 years, has significantly contributed to the field of nursing education. In addition to teaching, has accrued 12 years of administrative experience in nursing education, demonstrating expertise in curriculum planning and implementation. she is currently an active member of key academic bodies including the Board of Studies, Academic Council, and Passing Board for examinations at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Her involvement extends to contributing to student grievance redressal through participation in the Student Grievance Cell. Dr. R. Vijayalakshmi has been instrumental in fostering international collaborations and has organized and participated in numerous conferences and continuing education events, thereby enriching the academic and professional landscape of nursing. She has extensive experience in guiding undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. research projects. She has published numerous scientific papers in reputable indexed journals, contributing valuable research to the field.
