Emel Külekci is a researcher and educator with extensive academic and clinical experience in health sciences. Born in 1982, she graduated from the Gülhane Military Medical Academy School of Nursing with a four-year bachelor’s degree in 2003. She completed her Master’s degree in Surgical Nursing in 2014 and earned her PhD in the same field in 2023. She served for 16 years as a military nurse, primarily in intensive care units, where her clinical practice focused on patient safety, critical care, and surgical nursing. For the past seven years, she has been working as a lecturer in the Anesthesia Technician Associate Degree Program at a university, delivering courses in clinical and simulation-based practice, anesthesia applications, medical terminology, and pain management. Her academic interests include nursing, surgical nursing, intensive care nursing, patient safety, and standardization processes in clinical care. As documented in her CV, she has authored numerous national and international academic publications and conference presentations. In 2023, she obtained a nationally registered ‘’Utility Model Patent’’. In 2025, she received an international “Best Researcher Award.” She is also actively involved in scientific publishing. In 2024, she served for one year as an Assistant Editor at a SCIE-indexed journal, and since 2025, she has been serving as an Assistant Editor at an internationally field-indexed journal.
