Biography

Dr. Ahmed Al-Imam, is a 32 years old medical doctor and a Dermatologist from Iraq. He currently work as a doctoral student (PhD in Medicine) at the University of Hertofrdshire, in the United Kingdom. He finished his postgraduate Diploma at Queen Mary University of London (PGDiploma in clinical Dermatology) and his master’s degree at the University of Hatfield (MSc in Dermatology and Skin Theraputics), both with distinction in the United Kingdom. Further, he has Post graduate qualifications in Human Anatomy and Physiology from the University of Florida (United States), and another postgraduate qualification in comparative Anatomy of Vertebrates. He is also a member of the American Association of Anatomists (AAA), the Japanese Association of Anatomists (JAA), the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).

He currently works as a lecturer and researcher at the faculty of Medicine, University of Baghdad. He has teaching experience in the fields of Human Anatomy, Surgical Pathology, and tissue processing. His doctorate thesis at the University of Hertfordshire, will deploy a comprehensive mapping of the Dark Web, in relation to the Performance and Image Enhancing Drugs (PIEDs) and NPS. His latest invention patency, was on Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) devices, for the management of bed-ridden and elderly patients, with chronic venous insufficiency. In parallel with his doctoral studies in the UK, he is working on a high-impact biomedical research project in collaboration with the AAA and the Anatomical Society (AS) of England. The project is aiming to provide accurate 3D-localization of facial nerve canal within the temporal bone and in relation to the mastoid air cells, using Hi-Precision Diagnostic Imaging.
