Akif Yarkac is an Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Academic Emergency Medicine, Mersin University, Turkey. He was graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2011. Between 2011 and 2013, he completed my compulsory service as a general practitioner working in the emergency department at Hatay Dörtyol State Hospital. From 2013 to 2018, Akif Yarkac completed my residency training in Emergency Medicine at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, and became a board-certified Emergency Medicine specialist in 2018. Following my specialization, he worked as an Emergency Medicine specialist at Şanlıurfa Birecik State Hospital between 2018 and 2022. Since 2022, also have been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine. My academic interests include emergency medicine education, clinical research, and acute care management.
