ABSTRACT

Personal Injuries following a serious road traffic accident are illustrated. Assessment processes involving initial assessment and reassessment, defendant-instructed assessment and subsequent joint opinion discussions are outlined, giving further support to the progressive and logical medico-legal understanding of trauma and a positive approach to civil litigation.
