Dr. Fariba Kolahdooz is working as Assistant Director in the department of medicine, responsible for teaching, supervising student theses, designing research, data management, and analysis and writing scientific papers.
Dr. Fariba Kolahdooz pursued Ph.D. in Nutrition Epidemiology School of Population Health, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. On the thesis: “Dietary factors and ovarian cancer risk: From nutrients to lifestyle” Principle supervisor: Penny Webb (Australia) Advisors: Jolieke Van der Pols, Chris Bain, Geoff Marks (Australia). He was Graduate Diploma in Public Health (Community Nutrition) in School of Population Health, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.
He is the Editorial board member of few journals and also serving as a reviewer of various journals. He received Special Commendation for Excellent Research from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2009, Education awards and received grants for his research. Dr. Fariba Kolahdooz presented Oral and Posters in various conferences and most of his research is published in national and international journals related to diabetes.
